We Believe
We at HFUPC believe that Jesus Christ is the one true God (Deut. 6:4 & Titus 2;13), manifested in the flesh (I Tim 3:15-16). We believe that the Bible is God’s Holy Word (John 1:1), meant to be taken seriously, and used as a guide in how Christians should live their lives. (Proverbs 2 & 3:1-5) We believe in the great commission and are endeavoring to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with love, mercy, and compassion.
We believe that the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ is the saving gospel that gives the opportunity to anyone entrance into the Kingdom of God. (Luke 9:24) We believe that the only way a person can obtain eternal life is to repent of their sins (Luke 13:5, II Peter 3:9, & Acts 3:19), be baptized in the precious name of Jesus (Romans 3:22-28), and to be filled with His Spirit. (John 3:3-6 & Acts 2:38)
